Geraldine & Ezequiel Geraldine Rojas & Ezequiel Paludi

Ezequiel and Geraldine are artistically connected to the tango and offer a show with a very expressive interpretation. Realizing the virtues of the tango they cover us with the rhythm of its embrace. In October 2005, Ezequiel and Geraldine were invited to participate in the show “Corrientes Esquina Glamour” in the famous street Corrientes in Buenos Aires, which was performed with great success in 2006. They direct and produce “Trasnoche Tanqueril” together with José Colangelo (the last piano player of Troilo), Ariel Ardit and Noemí Marcela Ríos. Together, Ezequiel and Geraldine dance in “Forever Tango” and on international festivals in Europe and Asia.

Geraldine is known for her long artistic career, during which she took part in film (“Assassination Tango”), in ensembles (“Je ne suis pas là pour être aimé”), companies (“Junto a Raúl Lavie, Juanjo Domínguez Japón”; “Gloria y Eduardo Japón”), and shows (Cena’s “Michelangelo”, “Casa Blanca”, “La Cumparsita”, “Esquina Carlos Gardel”, and “Caballito Blanco”).

His outstanding pedagogic methods give him the ability to express the most complex details of his dancing and have placed him among the dancers who are most actively participating in the renaissance of Argentine Tango. Pablo has an extensive background in contemporary dance and has studied and danced at the Teatro General San Martin, one of the most important theatres and centers of contemporary art in Buenos Aires and all of Argentina. He also has a broad knowledge of the performing arts having studied in great depth: art, theatre, and drama in the Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramatico.

Pablo's romance with tango began in 1991 and since then, he has received acclaim throughout various communities worldwide, forming part of the most popular casts of tango festivals in Buenos Aires, Madrid, Amsterdam, Bergen, Hamburg, Laussane, and many more. He has directed and choreographed various tango shows including, 'Radio Cabulero' in Bergen, Norway, 'El Arte de Amar' in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and most recently “Metronomo”. In Buenos Aires he produces 'Festival Cambalache' (tango-dance-theatre) and the well known Practica X.

Mario & Anabella

Mario Consiglieri & Anabella Diaz-Hojman

Mario + Anabella met and began their partnership in the fall of 2003.  Since 2004 they continue to develope and explore a very unique and personal style of dancing the tango... very playful, incredibly musical, and in sync as a couple. With strong interests in expression and interpretation, they focus their research on investigating and breaking down their movement and music into several different layers.

They are highly valued and respected as teachers for their clarity, patience, and professionalism.  Natural, approachable, and enthusiastic about what they have chosen to devote their lives to, they share a special chemistry together while teaching which creates a very relaxed atmosphere.  Mario and Anabella hold every student with high regard, and are always looking for those curious few to pour their extra energy and knowledge into.

As one of the youngest professional couples working major events around the globe, they are also contributors to the young generation of tango dancers. They have contributed countless hours of investigation (sweat) to developing creative movements and ideas; collaborated with colleagues to make important projects become a reality (both in Buenos Aires and the exterior).

Homer & Cristina Homer & Cristina Ladas

Homer and Cristina started their tango obsession long before the met each other. Each with over 10 years of experience emphasizing a fusion of social tango ideologies...
As teachers they are committed to creating a positive class environment where small epiphanies can & do occur in their students. It has been said, on more than one occasion, that few dancing couples improvise with such skill, personality, and fluidity of movement.
Married since May 2002 they continue to explore deeper facets of their relationship to each other and to tango.

Murat & Michelle

Murat & Michelle Erdemsel

Murat was born in Istanbul. Michelle grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. Somehow, from literally opposite ends of the earth they managed to meet half way in New York City. They met in the milonga and that is where their dance continues to develop with a strong emphasis on embrace, musicality, and improvisation.
They are an elegant and playful couple, beautifully connected and embodying the romantic notion of two moving as one. Murat's style of teaching gives students the tools to grow on their own.

Coming from a classical art education he brings a fresh, holistic approach to the art of dancing tango. Michelle brings to the partnership a wealth of dance training in many disciplines with a focus on technique for injure free dancing.
They are warm, attentive, entertaining and accessible to students. Their enthusiasm for the dance is contagious and speading as they travel to teach at most of the major festivals in the U.S. Both are experienced performers and together are developing a unique style all their own.

Ney & Jennifer

Ney Melo & Jennifer Bratt

Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt dance an elegant style of social tango, which is rooted in the traditions of the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza in Buenos Aires. Their dance is defined by a smooth and graceful walk, a powerful sense of musicality, classic steps entwined with intricate embellishments, and an intimate embrace.
Their passion and respect for tango, its culture, and its music is clearly evidenced in their dance, as well as in their teaching. Ney and Jennifer have studied together with such maestros as Javier Rodriguez, Jorge Dispari y Maria del Carmen, and Julio Balmaceda y Corina de la Rosa.

Burak & Maria

Burak Ozkosem & Maria Alferov

Burak & Maria are recognized for their creative and expressive style and their bold and sensitive interpretations of both traditional tango music and the eclectic,non-traditional tango music. Their unique style is result of several years of research, analysis, and improvisational Tango approach based on organic movements, connection and body dynamics.
Although they specialize in Tango Nuevo method, Burak & Maria are not adding anything new or modern to Argentine Tango. Every movement they use is strictly taken from the Tango vocabulary. They respect the music and respond in the traditional places in the song: their connection, syncopa or ryhthm is flawless. What they do is deconstruct the usual Tango marking (marcado) and reconstruct in thei r own surprising way. Burak & Maria's nontraditional use the of Tango vocabulary promopts curiosity, and inspiration for other dancers.
